Amy Weison

Amy brings over 35 years of accounting experience, along with an entrepreneurial spirit to Rock Solid Foundation.  After graduating with a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University, Amy earned her CPA license and began her accounting career as an auditor for the State of Texas. She continued her accounting experience for the next 10 years within state government, before adding the creative outlet of photography to her work experience. Amy left state government to open a successful photography studio which specialized in photographing weddings, families, and high school seniors for the past 25 years.  Her level of entrepreneurial success has been made possible by her business knowledge, her accounting experience, her ability to authentically connect with people, and her creativity.   

Her role as Controller at Rock Solid Foundation includes handling the financial accounting and reporting requirements for each of our independent agencies who have partnered with Rock Solid Foundation. 

Amy and her husband, Jim, have been married for 35 years and prioritize their faith and family in all they do.  Amy enjoys nothing more than spending time with her husband, their three daughters, 2 sons-in law, and 4 grandchildren.  She’s a country-girl at heart and can usually be found outdoors on their little homestead where she gardens, raises chickens and enjoys all the details of God’s beautiful creation.  

Amy serves as Treasurer of Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry and Community Ministries, which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to show the love of God by providing food, clothing, and emergency shelter, and by offering hope and help to those in need.
