Jamie Martinez

Jamie Martinez is a social work enthusiast, who has spent her entire professional career focused on children and families.  Jamie is a native Hoosier and graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors in Social Work. She relocated to Texas to attend Texas State University, where she graduated with her Masters in Social Work, with a focus on administration and supervision. While in the Masters program, Jamie interned with the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). This was a fabulous experience that led Jamie to be employed with DFPS for numerous years, as a caseworker and supervisor, before venturing to learn the private side of child welfare. Jamie went on to work at private foster care agencies, as a supervisor then as a Program Director. These employment ventures provided her with the opportunity to see the role that data and technology play in better outcomes for children and families. Based off of this exposure, Jamie has worked for child welfare technology companies for more than a decade. Jamie joined the Rock Solid Foundation team as Business Development Manager in 2024. 

Jamie has served as a guardian ad-litem with Hays County since 2023. When she’s not working and advocating for children and families, Jamie can be found spending time with her numerous nieces and nephews, planning a themed party, in the kitchen trying out new recipes and cheering on Miami Hurricanes football.
